About Kensington & Chelsea Foundation
Kensington and Chelsea is a borough usually associated with affluence and wealth, but it also has areas of severe deprivation and significant inequalities. The Kensington & Chelsea Foundation is an independent charity, set up in 2008 by local resident, Jeremy Raphaely, who was aware of these challenges in our borough and was determined to gain support from like-minded people to help address them. Their vision is of a borough where everyone has the opportunity to live happy, healthy, fulfilled lives. To achieve this vision, the foundation uses their extensive local knowledge and networks to support their charity partners and connect donors to the most vital issues in the community.
